Roof Repairs

Nearly all roofing is built to last, but over the years defects may start to appear. A problem with your roof may seem like an overwhelmingly expensive problem that will take a lot of time and money to fix, but usually this isn’t the case at all.

Defective pointing to ridge tiles, hip tiles and verges, slipped tiles, broken roof tiles and even sagging roof slopes are relatively minor defects that are fairly common. These can usually be rectified easily and without too much expense.

ROOFING

Poorly fitted or poorly constructed roofing will cost a fortune in repairs and replacement bills, not to mention the stress and anxiety that goes with it.
At G H Property Solutions we only work with the very best roofing materials and products. We believe in providing the best possible customer service and all our roofing products are fully guaranteed.

Roof Cleaning

By washing your roof, Emerloyal will thoroughly remove moss, algae, lichen and all other forms of fungi that have contaminated your roof over the years. Throughout the roof cleaning process we will protect your downpipes and clean your gutters of any residue from the roof. Steam cleaning does not damage the roof tiles. Modern cleaners have controls to suit the different surfaces to be cleaned. Apart from the obvious benefits to a clean roof, there are many more serious reasons to remove the build up of moss from your roof:

• Moss algae and lichens on the roof absorb and retain water

• Roof tiles that are wet consistently will become porous

• A build up of too much moss, could lead to broken tiles

• Constantly wet roof tiles will lead to much greater problems such as damp rot throughout the structure.

GRP Fibreglass Roofing

Glass reinforced polyester, or more commonly known as fibreglass roofing, provides great flexibility whilst also being cost effective. A composite material made from reinforced polyester resin GRP, forms a tough, versatile, long lasting layer which can be applied to existing flat roofs, garages and new building projects.

EPDM Rubber Roofing

Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer or EPDM is a high performance synthetic rubber membrane developed in the USA over 30 years ago and designed to withstand extreme climates such as Alaskan cold and Arabian Gulf heat. It offers outstanding durability and suits all types of flat or gently sloping roofs. Originally designed for the commercial market with over 500 million square meters already installed worldwide, EPDM is now proving to be the popular option for domestic projects when customers are considering the replacement of their flat roof.

Other Flat Roofing Systems

We can also supply and install single ply membranes, bituminous felts and hot melt systems. This includes your insulation requirements, as well as structural decking, polyester powder coated aluminium soffits, fascias and cappings. We also specialise in installing common flat roof waterproofing systems.
